The Cover Shoot – PR Photography: The Clichè: A picture is a 1000 words.

At work. At play. Around all day! Commercial Magazine Shoot. It literally was like that. Two (2) full days of non-stop shoots and a number of half days at different days to get the magazine ready for the September issue.

I’ve done 2 authors portrait shoot for their books* and numerous article shoots as part of my photojournalism work – I’ve lost count. However, this is my 4th magazine COVER shoot. It is always an honour and privilege to be asked to do the cover shoot for a magazine. While a privilege, it is still a responsibility not to be taken lightly. You’ve got to get it sooooooooo right!!!   2 weeks effort and very proud of the outcome. Not just the cover this time, but the WHOLE magazine, including some Ads within and photographic coverage of events ran during that period by the magazine.

Get your copy of the Sept/Oct 2018 issue to see my work as well as the entrepreneurs featured. The future is bright! The future is entrepreneurs!!!!

Here are a few of the behind the scene and internal/inside the magazine shots.

*One portrait was for Clare O’Dea – The author of ‘The Naked Swiss’.
